History:
This Amethyst Metallic example was originally delivered to Porsche Santa Barbara in California, and has an original build price of $305,160.
The Bring a Trailer listing mentions that this chassis has had history in California, Illinois, Florida, and New York.

Public information is limited don this example, but it was seemingly listed with Chicago Motorcars before being acquired by Graham Rahal Performance and listed on Bring a Trailer.

The Bring a Trailer listing closed on October 24 of 2022, where the car did not sell with a high bid of $365,000.
Configuration Details:
Out of the original 1948 Speedster chassis, there were seven to be finished in Amethyst Metallic. One chassis was originally delivered to Canada, another to Switzerland and Brazil, and the remaining four to the United States.

In viewing the exterior of this configuration, we see the Silver finish on the wheels and the PDLS+ LED Headlights.

While we do also see the gold "Speedster" script, it is worth noting that this was not a factory addition. Porsche would not allow for the gold "Speedster" badges on any example that was not a Heritage Package car.

The interior features the upgraded Black Leather selection, including Black deviated stitching. It is here we also see the Lightweight Bucket Seats which include aftermarket inserts.
